On 10 September, partners will gather in the Sheraton hotel in Kampala to officially launch the EU-funded YEPPAD project (Youth Empowerment and Participation in Policy and Development), focused on supporting youth in Uganda’s West Nile region. During the same event, finalists from a national hackathon will pitch their digital solutions for youth entrepreneurship and job creation. The winning team will receive support further to develop their idea through the new Entrepreneurship Booster Platform.
Although YEPPAD is not part of LEAD Uganda, it shares common goals—empowering youth, strengthening local civil society, and enabling homegrown solutions to thrive.
